Chapter 1541: Shift in Attitude
After a long conversation with Lorianne, Sein returned to the main hall.
By then, the discussions between Master Fathis, the Klytheran powerhouses, and the Blue Star natives had mostly wrapped up.
Karazo and the other Klytherans looked calm and collected, while the Blue Star natives seemed visibly relieved. Clearly, things had gone pretty well for them.
Only Darian still wore a faint frown, while Orric of Aquaria had also lost his usual carefree expression.
It seemed like their negotiations had not gone smoothly—at the very least, they had not gained much from Fathis, the Magus Civilization’s representative.
“The legal contracts for your admission into the Magus Alliance will be delivered shortly. Once signed, you will become official members of the Magus Alliance. The promised resources and support will be provided in full,” Fathis said, addressing Karazo and the Klytherans first.
She then turned to Darian and Orric. “As for the conditions put forth by the Shadowbat Civilization and Planet Aquaria, our Magus Civilization will review them carefully. We will respond promptly once a decision has been reached. For now, please await further instructions with the military contingent.”
Finally, Fathis looked at Sein and said, “Master Sein, your recent contributions have earned you rewards from the Magus Alliance, and they have already been dispatched.”
“It should not be long before you may return to Magus World for rest and recuperation,” she added with a warm smile.
Sein had already heard about this from Lorianne, so he was not surprised. He thanked Grandmaster Fathis with genuine courtesy.
Grandmaster Feylis was nowhere to be seen in the hall. He assumed she had already returned to her Verdant Flame Fortress.
As he left with Karazo, Darian, and the others, Fathis commented with a note of admiration, “Feylis sure has a fine grand apprentice.”
