Chapter 1532: Subdue
The Magus Civilization’s garrison on Planet Zax coordinated a timely attack.
As Sein and the Klytheran Legion tore into the enemy forces on the planet, the Magus Civilization’s knights and mages stationed at the two main bases also launched a counterattack almost instantly.
Caught between the two, the Gallant Federation troops and the Sanok forces on Zax were thrown into complete chaos.
They had no idea how many reinforcements the Magus Civilization had sent, but the sudden appearance of those intimidating Rank Four and Five beings was frightening enough!
“We’re holding the advantage on several nearby planetary battlefields. Hold your positions! I’m requesting reinforcements from neighboring sectors now!” a federal lieutenant general barked from inside his capital ship, addressing every captain under his command.
Although the Gallant Federation had plenty of low-ranking troops on Zax, their high-tier combat strength was sorely lacking.
Meanwhile, after eleven brutal years of siege, the Magus Civilization garrison on this planet was down to just two remaining law-wielding combatants.
The federation had deployed more than ten million troops to the Sanok Star Domain, but once those forces were divided across multiple fronts, they were spread dangerously thin.
And truthfully, the Gallant Federation had no interest in getting dragged into another direct clash with the Magus Civilization in the Sanok Star Domain.
Due to various strategic considerations and future war deployments, the federation had gradually pulled out much of its strength from Zax. In the end, they left behind only three high-ranking combatants to hold this low-level plane.
Their sole advantage over Gargawell and Azaria, the two Magus Civilization powerhouses still defending this planet, lay in their fleets’ abundant energy reserves and relentless firepower.
But no matter how many high-ranking warships the federation fielded, could they really stand up against the sheer mass and momentum of the newly arrived Klytheran troops flooding the battlefield?
