The sudden arrival of reinforcements from the Magus Civilization did not bring relief to Sein and Yuri.
Their safety was far from guaranteed.
Sure enough, a surge of oppressive spatial forces rippled not far from Sein’s field of vision.
Feeling the terrifying pressure of the power contained within, and with the Faceless Mask’s analysis confirming it, Sein smiled bitterly.
“Guess it’s over for us.”
No way to resist, nowhere to run. They were as good as dead!
Sein had always been confident in his own strength. For even him to utter such words of despair meant this was certain death.
The newly arrived Rank Six mage on the battlefield seemed to have noticed Sein’s peril.
Instead of striking the federal fleet right away, he raised his magic rod high. An ice mirror began to form, crystallizing from pure law energy.
Even with his power, the Rank Six mage could not block the concentrated Black Ops’ attack on such short notice.
As the ice mirror took form, he shouted to the other two Rank Six powerhouses of the Magus Civilization, “Protect Rank Four Mage Sein at all costs!”
The other two were a Rank Six knight and a Rank Six alliance creature.
