Chapter 1466: Nimitz
Woodleaf Grass was a low-grade magic herb that could absorb trace amounts of radiation from living beings.
What made it especially valuable was that it only grew in certain fissures along Radbow World’s ley lines—and even then, in abysmally small quantities.
Since Farke and the other mages stationed here were bound by garrison duty, they could not venture too far to harvest it.
The few Farke had left were all that remained in his stock.
Nimitz had always looked out for him, so he did not mind sharing them with the old Rank One mage.
When he made the offer, though, Nimitz simply glanced at him and slowly shook his head.
“Woodleaf Grass is better left for young mages like you. My old bones won’t last much longer anyway. No point wasting precious herbs on me...”
There was a heavy weariness in his tone, something Farke had never heard before in all their years together.
Then Farke noticed a faint trickle of yellowish, radioactive fluid seeping from Nimitz’s abdomen.
That kind of injury could never be healed with mere Woodleaf Grass. He needed proper treatment, and fast!
“You’re injured?! I’ll contact the fortress right now for replacements. You need to return and get treated, Master Nimitz!” Farke exclaimed, panic rising in his voice.
A federal warship’s energy beam had clearly struck Nimitz.
