Sovereign of the Ashes

Chapter 1405: Local Battlefield Advantage

Sein planted an elemental crystal into the sand elemental’s core and patted it. “Go. Take this back with you.”

The crystal was condensed from his own Ashen Power, and it carried vital information to prove his identity.

Aside from that, it also held a message Sein wanted delivered to the opposing Magus Civilization commander.

Sein also intended to try persuading the Huusians to switch sides. After all, he owed them for saving his life.

Though the Huusian King still did not know his identity, Sein believed his knowledge of their people and of the war in this star domain gave him a real chance of success.

The Gallant Federation used implanted metal buttons as deterrents to control Rank One and below lifeforms. It was safe to assume they had far more advanced methods for keeping those of Rank Four and above in line, not to mention the entire Huusian fleet.

But Sein was not worried about them. With the Magus Civilization’s help and the Huusians’ willingness to surrender, there would always be a way to remove them.

After all, the Magus Civilization had more solid foundations than the Gallant Federation.

The sand elemental in his hand scattered with the wind across the raging battlefield.

Sein had first obtained this unique elemental lifeform years ago in the White Sand World. Back then, during his breakout from the federation, he had drawn on its power through the White Sand Fan.

Now, though, he valued Sandy less for its combat strength and more for its stealth, which was a gift of its unusual nature.

Yuri was still kept within Sein’s spatial living device. She had recovered somewhat from her wounds, but was not combat-ready yet.
