“I object to the deal you and Thor made to trade the Golden Apple for seventy million magicoins, Master Sein,” Loki said bluntly via voice transmission.
“Oh?” Sein raised a brow, then turned to Thor with a questioning look.
Thor, already guessing what his younger brother was about to say, flushed red.
Given Thor’s character, going back on his word was something he simply could not do.
“Then how many magicoins do you think is fair?” Sein asked.
In truth, Loki did not believe Sein could actually come up with seventy million magicoins.
His sudden change of heart was partly to make Sein back down and partly to find a more suitable buyer.
Compared to Sein, who was only Rank Four and looked ordinary, the Phantom Crow King quietly keeping a low profile at Sein’s side seemed like a far better potential buyer.
There were plenty of wealthy foreign gods out there too. For a Rank Six creature from another realm, scraping together tens or even hundreds of millions of magicoins was not impossible.
Thus, Loki replied without hesitation, “I won’t settle for anything less than one hundred million magicoins!”
