Sovereign of the Ashes

Chapter 1237: Response

The native creatures of White Sand World taking the initiative to charge through the planar barrier only showed how little they truly knew about the Magus World, and how unaware they were of just how powerful their enemies really were.

The most rational course of action for them would have been to remain within the barrier and stay on the defense.

By relying on the terrain, the advantages of their homeplane’s laws and environment, they could have held out for a much longer time.

In fact, geo elemental worlds had always been one of the most difficult types of planes to conquer in the entire Astral Realm.

Back during the Bouldrak World War that Sein had participated in, Eugene would have never managed to conquer that geo elemental world so quickly if he had not received support from the other beast gods of Beastmen World. There was no way he could have done it with just the half-beastmen.

In battles between Rank Four beings, only demigods and Rank Three entities could even perceive the slightest clue of what was happening.

All Rank One, Rank Two beings, and cannon fodder below Rank One could only see a blinding storm of energy and elemental forces. Their limited perception made it impossible to even glimpse the figures of the Rank Four powerhouses.

The area around Lorianne had already transformed into a swirling maelstrom of green dendro elemental energy.

Every now and then, flashes of purple elemental waves would flicker through. They were signs of Lorianne casting poison spells.

With the power of Sein’s forbidden spell intensifying, he now looked like a volcano on the verge of eruption.

Blinding white and deep crimson flames were starting to manifest in the starry sky around him.

It was no wonder that Rank Four and above beings were called “gods”. In this moment, Sein bore little resemblance to a human.
