Chapter 1132: Forbidden Spell
While tactics, strategy, and planning mattered in interplanar wars, what usually determined the outcome was still the most basic factor—raw strength.
The half-beastman legion had only average overall strength, and their numbers were limited.
They also lacked a space fortress or a large mage legion to provide long-range firepower support.
With such a legion, achieving victory at a small cost was not exactly realistic in the first place.
The laws of the microplane’s narrow environment restricted Rank Four creatures from entering. Hence, the highest combat force was limited to demigods.
That said, the demigod-level strength of this invading army was still pretty solid.
The two demigod-level knights from Magus World often outperformed opponents of the same rank in one-on-one combat.
Sein wanted this half-beastman army marching into Boubor World to suffer as few losses as possible.
He was not doing this for Eugene’s sake.
Rather, Sein wanted to use this interplanar war to hone his skills in strategizing and coordination.
This was also a form of growth.
