Chapter 1128: The War Begins
The teleportation gate’s sudden appearance caught most of the native creatures in this microplane completely off guard.
The massive half-beastman legions that Eugene had been building up over the years actually put up a good fight, despite their crude weapons.
More importantly, these half-beastmen were fighting with conviction.
They would not turn back, even if it meant dying on the battlefield for the sake of their race.
Among the nearly seven hundred thousand half-beastman troops, there were even two who had reached demigod level—one a half-wolffolk, the other a half-bearfolk.
Both were formidable in combat.
Honestly, the overall quality of the half-beastman troops Eugene handed over to Sein was not bad at all.
Within those seven hundred thousand troops, close to ten thousand had reached Rank One or above.
Alongside them were nearly two thousand Magus World knights, including two at the demigod level.
Magus World mages were more strategic thinkers, which often earned them more respect than knights. So naturally, no one had a problem following Sein’s lead.
In fact, the knights were more than happy to let Sein handle the planning and coordination. It meant they could focus entirely on charging into battle and smashing through the enemy.
