In every world, guardians were chosen from those who love their homeplane with all their heart.

Of course, not everyone who loved their world could become a guardian—power still mattered.

In some planes, guardianship could even be determined or influenced by external forces.

Most of the time, a plane had only one guardian. But in special cases, there could be two or more.

Magus World was one of those rare exceptions—it had four guardians!

The passion Azelia showed for her homeland seemed to stir a faint response from the will of Beastmen World. That was why Tourmaline made the comment she did.

Tourmaline came from a family that had long assisted in regulating Magus World’s internal laws, and because of that, most of her kin were heavily favored by the will of the plane.

Sein carried a sliver of planar light within his body, so technically, he also received some attention from Magus World’s will.

But compared to Tourmaline, his presence barely registered. If she had 100% of the planar will’s attention, Sein probably had just 1%.

As for the fox maiden, she was only receiving a flicker of attention from the will of Beastmen World—maybe just 0.1%.

After all, she had barely contributed to this world. It was only the sincerity in her song that stirred the planar will, just slightly.
