As the day of his departure drew closer, Sein, who had already packed all his belongings, was less eager to keep up with his daily experiments.
That day, while he was in the middle of a lesson with Flynn and the others, he got an unexpected visit from the Succubus Queen.
The topic of today’s lesson was the creation and application of magic artifacts.
Resting on his shoulder was none other than the portable magic cannon that had once played a key role in god-hunting battles.
Flynn and the other Arcanist trainees looked especially eager to learn about how the cannon worked.
Although Sein could not build anything on the scale of the Magus World space fortress’ main cannons, crafting a smaller version of a magic cannon was easy work for him.
“You guys talk it over for a bit. I’ll be right back,” Sein said, casually tossing the cannon to Flynn after he noticed the Succubus Queen waiting just outside the classroom.
Flynn did not catch the cannon; the hydro elemental golem beside him caught it instead.
The boy had shown some talent in alchemy.
That golem was one of his creations, made by applying the knowledge Sein had taught him.
