Badel was feeling a genuine terror.

“Won’t you be using any weapons?”

“If I use something like that, it’ll be over too quickly.”

He recalled the short question and answer session they engaged in when they started the duel.

Badel had actually never used a weapon in any of the previous duels he had been in. From start to finish, he had always used his bare fists to pummel his opponents.
