Chapter 196
The green glow placed by Esther on Ethan’s shoulder wore away showing his healed shoulder. The beast king took note of that as it looked at Esther licking It’’s lip "You are next" Fear appeared on Esther’s face as she took a step back.
Roth watching all this had a frown on his face, he was drawn to the group because they seemed very unique and extraordinary in this very ordinary town. The sight in front of him showed him how wrong he was.
Their uniqueness didn’t equate to strength, shaking his head, a red sword appeared in his hand which he threw accurately to land beside Ethan.
Ethan looked at the red sword and then at Roth who threw the sword, Ethan looked at the sword in his hand that has accompanied him his whole life. Yet for some reason, Ethan knew if he didn’t forgo his sword and take up the new sword he would be losing a great opportunity.
With no hesitation, Ethan cast aside his sword as he laid his hand on the red sword, the first sensation Ethan felt was how his blood began boiling, his body can be visibly seen surrounded by a red hue.
Stomping the ground, Ethan turned into a red blur as he appeared at one of the beast king’s legs. Waving his new sword, Ethan felt how it easily went through the thick hide drawing blood which was immediately absorbed by the sword.
Ethan, so taken back by that, stopped moving a s he looked at the sword, the beast king who was taken back by Ethan speed jumped back after getting damaged. It looked at the absent minded Ethan with a serious look.
It opened its mouth where red crystal began forming and took the shape of a sword which it held steadily with its mouth, and at the same time red crystal covered its whole body in armor. The beast king snuck a glance at Esther seeing her looking at Ethan.
A red crystal ball formed around it which it sent out to Esther, at the same time it dug its feet into the ground and pounced at Ethan, with its head low ready to strike him with the sword.
