Chapter 114
"Why me?" Omadi asked, but Zephyr shook his head and sad "We can talk about that later but we need to head back to my place now, I only came now to assure you that you are safe with us"
Omadi stayed silent before nodding, Zephyr smiled at that as he made a gesture causing two soldiers to walk forward holding a bag which Zephyr handed over to Omadi and said "Feed and drink up, we can’t have you collapsed before we reach back to the mountain"
The moonlight on the sky showed, clearly Omadi expression of joy and relaxed face once he opened the bag to see meat, fruits and water inside of it, no longer keeping a strong front the old man bowed to Zephyr as his eyes teared up "Thank you, your highness"
Zephyr nodded as he stepped away to talk with the scouts, "How are you guys doing?"
Tobi spoke cheerfully, "Feeling great your highness, what went down tonight really got my blood pumping"
Zephyr smiled at that "It’s good to see that you all are coping well, but i have a request to make of you guys. You can disagree if you want to"
Nala spoke up this time "What is it your highness?"
Zephyr looked over to the humans who were tearing down at the food they just got, "I need people who can keep an eye on them after we get them back to the kingdom. You guys have proven how good of a scout you are, and i would not want anyone else for this job except for you guys"
Zephyr said as he let them think "you don’t have have to answer me now but i would like an answer before we reach the mountains"
