Chapter 400: The Terrifying Poison
As Crocodile faced off against Magellan’s poisonous giant, he knew better than to underestimate his opponent. He quickly created some distance between them. Watching from a safe distance were Allan and Jinbei. They, too, retreated along with Crocodile.
Even Mr. 1, Daz Bones, Mr. 2, Bon Clay, Mr. 3, Galdino, and the other pirates realized the danger and fled from Magellan’s presence. The remaining pirates, injured from the previous battle, were unable to move and could only watch in horror as Magellan’s poison spread like a wave, consuming them.
“AAAAAHHHHHH!”
“Curses, the poison is spreading!”
The poison emanating from Magellan was a bloody red color. Like a mist of blood, it quickly enveloped those who couldn’t escape, and screams could be heard from within. Magellan continued to move toward his target: Allan and his companions.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
With a forward lunge, Magellan’s giant hand reached out to grab them.
“Super Candle Wall!”
Mr. 3 panicked and quickly activated his Devil Fruit power, allowing him to create a white candle wax wall in front of him. He was confident that this wall could withstand any attack, including bullets and cannon fire from a warship.
