Lord Summoner's Freedom Philosophy: Grimoire of Love

Chapter 276: The Wolf Duke (4) The Confrontation

With a tap of his staff on the ground, the black-cloaked man summoned more than fifty black-cloaked members of the [Crows]. They emerged from the shadows, their sneers evident beneath their hoods. "You’re surrounded," one of them said, a wicked grin spreading across his face.

Lyan scoffed, a fearless smile spreading across his lips. "I guess that’s all he’s got?" he said, gripping his magic glaive tightly. A white aura, the high spirit of the knight, enveloped him, and his confidence was palpable.

Borton chuckled, his large frame seeming to grow even more imposing. "This won’t be as hard as the goblin king subjugation," he said, brandishing his massive hammer.

Julius nodded in agreement, his magic sword erupting in flames. "Just another day," he said, the fire casting eerie shadows on his face.

Erich, his sword glowing with the golden flames typical of the royalty mana from the Astellia Kingdom, stepped forward. "Let’s end this quickly," he said, his voice calm but determined.

The battle erupted in a flurry of motion and steel. Lyan was the first to engage, his glaive spinning in a deadly arc. He lunged at the nearest Crow, his movements were fluid and precise. The Crow attempted to dodge, but Lyan anticipated the move, his glaive slicing through the air and cutting deeply into the man’s side. The Crow fell with a grunt, and Lyan moved on to the next target without missing a beat.

Borton was a whirlwind of destruction, his hammer crashing down with earth-shattering force. He swung at a Crow who tried to flank him, the hammer connecting with a sickening crunch. The Crow crumpled to the ground, bones shattered. Borton roared, his hammer swinging in wide arcs, clearing a path through the enemies.

Julius fought with a controlled fury, his magic sword blazing with intense flames. He slashed at a Crow, the flames scorching through the man’s defenses. The Crow fell back, desperately trying to extinguish the fire consuming his robes. Julius pressed his advantage, the sword’s flames cutting through the next opponent’s sword and searing flesh. He moved with deadly grace, each strike precise and lethal.

Erich’s golden flames cast a radiant glow around him as he engaged multiple foes. He parried an incoming strike with ease, the golden flames flaring as he countered with a powerful slash. The Crow’s sword shattered under the impact, and Erich’s blade cut deep into the man’s chest. Another Crow lunged at him from behind, but Erich spun, his sword cutting through the air in a blinding arc. The golden flames left a trail of light, and the Crow fell, lifeless, to the ground.
