Chapter 1691: When The Flood Dragon Roars, The Living Is Butchered
“You still haven’t answered my question.”
Blood Plum looked down on the man menacingly. When he didn’t answer, she slowly bent down and extended a hand toward him.
Recalling his earlier experience, the man subconsciously tried to dodge out of the way. However, he immediately felt a spine-chilling killing intent locking onto him and froze in place.
It was because he understood that the mad woman before his eyes would actually kill him if he defied her anymore than he already did.
Slowly, Blood Plum grabbed his chin and turned his face toward her. “What’s wrong? Won’t you answer me? If you won’t, then you may never say another word. Is that what you wish for?”
“I... I understand.”
Humiliated as he was, the middle-aged man understood that defending his pride wasn’t worth losing his life. He could always plot to kill this bitch and repay this humiliation many fold after he got away from her.
“Good boy.” Blood Plum gently slapped the middle-aged man’s face. She noticed the hatred and killing intent residing behind his eyes as a matter of course, but she didn’t care. Ants like him could not do anything no matter how much they dreamed.
“Now get up. The ground’s pretty cold, you know?”
Blood Plum rose back to full height and set her sights on the distant caravans once more.
The man followed suit and stared at her with his mouth half-open. It was clear he wanted to say something, but didn’t dare to.
“Speak your thoughts. It’s unhealthy to keep your thoughts to yourself,” Blood Plum said indifferently.
