Chapter 1522: Impossible! This Is Absolutely Impossible!
The wind and rain fell, but some were fast, and some were slow. The variations in speed made it impossible to guard against. It was the Wind Rain Impetus.
The mountain and river loomed, but some were lighter, and some were heavier. It was impossible to gauge them all accurately. It was the Mountain River Impetus.
The dragons and tigers roared, but it was a combination of hardness and softness. Inconstant and everchanging, it was the Dragon Tiger Impetus.
The sun and moon floated in the same sky, but yin and yang complemented or opposed one another in a never-ending cycle of change. It was the Sun Moon Impetus.
......
Water did not always flow at the same rate, an army did not always keep to the same shape, humans did not always keep to the same state, a routine could not always be kept, the law could not always be maintained, and nothing in the world could exist forever.
Slowly, the Evil Body wore himself out trying to keep pace with Ye Qing. He grew weary just trying to deal with all the unpredictable changes Ye Qing was throwing at him.
The scales slowly began to tip in Ye Qing’s favor, and the tables were turned before he knew it.
The Evil Body noticed this of course. He couldn’t do anything about it though.
Ye Qing’s body was terribly powerful to begin with. It was impervious to most attacks and stupidly strong. Now that it was bolstered by the everchanging way of the Innate Yin Yang Qi, Ye Qing was able to easily neutralize his attacks as well, rendering his plan to target his weak mind utterly useless. As if that wasn’t enough, Ye Qing’s offense had become unpredictable, unfathomable, and indefensible as well.
One could say that the Innate Yin Yang Qi had perfectly removed Ye Qing’s weakness and turned him into a perfect existence. The only way to kill him now was to crush him via absolute power. Otherwise, it was simply impossible.
Although the Evil Body’s cultivation level and strength were still greater than Ye Qing’s, they definitely weren’t overwhelmingly greater than the young man’s. Naturally, he couldn’t kill him.
