Chapter 1502: Rakshasa God Blood
“I thought you were plotting something, White Robe.”
If someone infuriates you, beat the shit out of them. That was the kind of behavior Empress Yue Su subscribed to despite her gender. She had always been a decisive woman, and she wasn’t about to stop now.
Unfortunately, right before she could unleash an attack against White Robe Demon Master, she suddenly felt her force and spirit pouring into the underground against her will. Not only that, five powerful and corruptive powers were attacking her mind.
Clearly, she had taken White Robe Demon Master’s place and become one of the gears that propelled the Rakshasa Seal.
Enraged, Empress Yue Su tried to master her energies and leave the area. However, she discovered in shock that she couldn’t do so. Not only that, she was pinned in place like her feet had grown roots. She could do nothing but allow the array to absorb her power.
It was only a few seconds, but much of her powers had left her body.
She finally understood why her fellow Sages looked as terrible as they were even though they had only operated the array for a short time. She also understood why they didn’t just stop and leave after the Rakshasa King was killed.
They couldn’t.
“There’s no use struggling.”
White Robe Demon Master smiled at her. “I forgot to mention this, but the Rakshasa Seal cannot be stopped once it is activated. The operators cannot disrupt or force the array to stop functioning either. It will only cease after you have run out of power.”
“But don’t worry. So long as you keep up your mental defenses, this array cannot take your life. Of course, your foundation may be damaged, and you may drop a cultivation level. It’s just a price you have to pay.”
“You are despicable, White Robe.” Empress Yue Su glared at him. She had been on her guard this whole time, but she still fell for his trap hook, line and sinker. It was her devious enemy that was to blame, not her.
