Chapter 1493: Rakshasa
“Phew...” It wasn’t until now that the five Sages let out small sighs of relief and lingering trepidation.
Although the god demon only looked at them one time and for less than a breath, it was still enough to terrify them to their core. That one breath had felt like it lasted an entire year.
To be honest, it had been a very long time since they felt this way; not since they became Sages.
This ant-like feeling where their life or death was out of their control was... unpleasant to say the least.
They were still thinking when the god demon unclenched his fists. His fingers cut through the air, creating cold, harsh wind and scattering demonic fire here and there.
The five Sages watched in astonishment as the god demon sank its hands back into the seawater. There was a rumble; an earthquake affected untold kilometers of sea regions. Then, the god demon slowly pushed himself to his feet.
The god demon was already over ten kilometers tall when it was sitting. When it stood though, the five Sages’ understanding of height was once again refreshed.
The god demon was at least one hundred kilometers tall and nine kilometers wide. Gigantic like a mountain range, it looked as if he was wearing the sun, moon and stars, and bearing the weight of the heavens with its legs. The sea was deep, and yet it was only deep enough to cover his knees. It was like the sea was no more than a muddy pond to the god demon.
They were even smaller before the god demon, of course. They were smaller than specks of dust and completely undeserving of his attention whatsoever.
“So big!” The Celestial Suppressing Wisdom King let out a heartfelt remark. He was ten meters tall and positively titanic compared to most people, but compared to this god demon? He was nothing.
The god demon’s size was just one aspect. The power and energies he emanated also chilled them to their core.
It was at this moment Danxia Zi asked subconsciously, “Are we still going to Elder Profound?”
