“That could work,” Old Man Profound Firmament mused. Now that they had figured out the truth about the demonic fire, they could use that knowledge to determine the coverage of the corpse. They could then effectively set up arrays and restrictions to seal the corpse within its sea region. This would solve the threat of the demonic fire.
Although this was a much milder and safer way to deal with the corpse compared to purifying it and destroying it right now, it wasn’t a permanent solution. For one, it took time to set up the arrays and restrictions. It also meant that they would not be able to eliminate this crisis in time.
Therefore, it was an option, but it certainly wasn’t the best solution.
“Do you think it’s possible for the Profound Alliance to temporarily evacuate the people from this sea region and find a way to permanently destroy the corpse later?”
Feng Qingyou suddenly spoke up, “Not only that, we can intentionally divert the demonic fire inside the corpse in the direction of the Rakshasa Kingdom while destroying the corpse. I believe it would be an effective way to destroy them.”

At the side, Ye Qing was observing the two Sages’ stunned expressions with a smile. He had had a lot of time to grow accustomed to Feng Qingyou’s antics, but this was the first time Old Man Profound Firmament and Danxia Zi had witnessed it. What was that saying again? We have been tricked, backstabbed and quite possibly bamboozled. It wasn’t quite like that, but it was close enough. Ye Qing had to admit that he quite enjoyed their reactions.
