At the very least, we can move freely in here instead of being forced to enter deep sleep in the Immortal Realm. If the others can withstand this solitude, we definitely can as well."

They wouldn't be activated before the war. Thus, they could only deduce that the war was near.
The expert with the silverish-white hair said, "Exactly. When the war begins, humanity will be busy dealing with the immortals at the front lines. We can then emerge and stab them on the back, cutting off their retreat route. This will eventually lead to their destruction."
He continued, "Fire King, how many hidden experts like us do you think are there in the Human Realm? Are there any hidden experts from the other races in the Human Realm as well?"
The Fire King smiled and said, "I don't know. But I'm sure the number won't be low. The various races wouldn't have left without leaving some trump cards behind. Take our race as an example. I reckon we have at least three similar ruins occupied. The divines and devils must have done the same as well..."
The expert with the silverish-white hair said, "I can't wait for the war to break out. I can't wait to give the humans a big surprise. Just when will the war happen?"
"Soon." Fire King said, "According to Jade King, these carrier treasures will be stored here for now. After collecting one or two more of them, destroy the teleportation door."
They were not the only ones here. They were merely the only Eternals here. The rest were either Sunmoons or Mountainseas. Over the years, they had all cultivated and waited patiently for the right timing to arrive.
Having spent nine epochs fighting humanity, the immortals were naturally aware of how annoying the humans were to deal with. Thus, they would never let go of a chance to create more trump cards to be used against the humans.
