Belinda Howard simply cried, feeling an overwhelming sense of injustice and even more so, a sense of helplessness, not knowing how to explain all this.
On the way home, Belinda Howard leaned against the car window, her crying had stopped, yet she hadn’t spoken a word, which left Clayton Howard feeling somewhat helpless.
Back home, Camila Walker noticed her daughter’s unusual demeanor, turned her head to her husband to inquire, but only saw him shake his head, also clueless about what was upsetting their daughter.
After glancing at her parents, Belinda Howard simply bid them goodnight, and then headed straight to the second floor.
