Chapter 570: Wait for Me to Come Back
Even from across the street, the astonishment in the woman’s voice could be heard in whatever foreign language she was using. Gu Hangshen, however, made no sound, merely reached back to touch the back of his head before turning around. Naturally, he saw Xiaoqiao and Leng Jing across the road.
Gu Hangshen tilted his head and said something to the woman, then he opened his car door, crossed the street, and walked towards them, still holding the shoe that had attacked him.
As he approached, Xiaoqiao caught a whiff of alcohol and turned her head away in disgust.
"Can we go back first?" Gu Hangshen stood in front of her, showing no guilt or panic at being caught, "I’ll explain everything when we get back."
Xiaoqiao glanced at the fresh lipstick mark on the collar of Gu Hangshen’s white shirt, just snorted softly, and then, without saying a word, walked away from him.
Leng Jing looked at Xiaoqiao and then at Gu Hangshen, her expression somewhat awkward. It seemed she wanted to say something to mediate, but in the end, she could only rush to catch up with the limping Xiaoqiao, carefully supporting her.
It didn’t take long for Gu Hangshen to catch up with them quickly, blocking their path. He then crouched down to pick up the foot of her shoeless foot.
Xiaoqiao struggled a bit but couldn’t break free, so she let him put the high-heeled shoe on for her. He shamelessly touched her hair and, even more shamelessly, kissed her on the corner of her lips before finally turning to leave, "Be good, wait for me to come back!"
Leng Jing was simply dumbfounded.
Not just by Xiaoqiao’s unexpectedly tolerant reaction, but also by Gu Hangshen’s so-called "shameless" behavior.
Xiaoqiao didn’t care about Gu Hangshen and continued walking forward. Although there was fiery anger in her eyes, there was no sign of sad dejection, "You probably thought I would endure it, right? Sorry, no matter how many years pass, I’m afraid I’ll never achieve your level of restraint! If something bothers me, I tend to vent it on the spot!
