Fairy Tail:  I Stole the Ryujin Jakka in My Sleepwalking

Chapter 468: FTRJ - 468

"You won’t be seeing the sun tomorrow, that’s for sure!"

"Too much chatter!" Seemingly annoyed by Mard’s words, Finn decided to take him out first and foremost.

He immediately moved towards Mard.

Seeing Finn approaching, Mard pointed the hand he had resting near his head forward.

"You’re not fighting me right now!"

Suddenly, a bright red flower appeared in front of Finn’s chest.

It wasn’t just any flower, but a red spider lily!

A red spider lily that guides the path to death!

Boom————

The flower suddenly exploded, completely engulfing Finn.

Immediately afterwards, the ground beneath Finn’s feet began to shatter, and huge trees burst forth from the earth.

The trees looked as if they were made of countless vines woven together.

Having broken free from the earth’s restraints, they began to grow wildly, completely enveloping Finn.

In just a moment, they had grown into towering trees.

Having halted Finn’s advance, Mard Geer slowly raised his arm.

Snap!

The crisp sound of a finger snap rang out.

"Your opponent is Alegria!"

Boom————!!

The towering trees that had encased Finn shattered, revealing Finn with his fists clenched.

"You bastard!" He seemed about to say something.

But a pink, viscous substance, appearing from nowhere, began to coat his feet.

Then his thighs, followed by his waist and hands.

"What is this...?" Finn frowned slightly.

The pink, viscous substance was spreading faster and faster.

It was as if countless demons from hell were trying to drag Finn down into the abyss.

Seeing this, Mard Geer turned away without a second glance.

As if he had completed his mission, he headed towards his throne.

Although the battle was far from over, he didn’t believe Finn could withstand the darkness to come.

The entire Cube began to shake violently.

It was as if a beast that had been sleeping for a long time was finally opening its closed eyes.

Stretching its body, which had been still for so long.

The earth began to soften.

It wasn’t just Finn’s location; the entire Cube was now secreting this pink, viscous substance from the ground.

It was wrapping around the bodies of all the Fairy Tail members still on the island.

.... ...

"What’s going on?"

"The gravity field is gone?"

"What are these pink things?"

Countless terrified voices rang out.

Those extended at the bottom were about to fall off Cube due to the loss of gravity.

But the sudden appearance of the pink substance firmly stuck everyone, pulling them back to Cube and then merging them into the ground.

It was as if this living island was trying to completely merge everyone into its own body.

Not only the Fairy Tail members, but even over half of the Tartaros soldiers were being dragged into the pink, viscous substance.

Seemingly hearing the screams echoing across Cube, Mard Geer’s steps became even lighter.

"Erosion."

"Sacrifice."

"Death and rebirth."

"Despair and hope."

The smile on Mard Geer’s face grew even more radiant.

"Humans are truly a foolish race. This Cube itself is a giant prison!"

Cube opened its abyss-like huge mouth, large enough to swallow a city.

Countless feet resembling tentacles appeared on the underside of the cube.

The Netherworld Beast, which had been asleep for so long, opened its giant mouth, and an earth-shattering roar echoed out.

"This is a prison located inside the body of the Plutogrim Beast!"

Strolling across the pink-covered earth, Mard Geer slowly spread his arms.

"Head towards the end in Alegria joy, humans!"

He slowly closed his eyes, as if everything on the entire Plutogrim Beast was flashing through his mind.

A victorious smile spread across his lips: "This is the last mercy the Netherworld bestows upon you!"

————————

In a place Tartaros didn’t notice, surrounded by the remains of towering trees, and in the middle of the wreckage, on the figure wrapped in pink substance, a golden light flashed.

"What’s going on?" Gray stared at the pink, viscous substance binding him.

His brow furrowed.

"My body... I can’t... move!!" He struggled to break free, but it was no use.

Keyes on the other hand, simply watched Gray in silence. "Has Tartaros taken action?"

"It seems... humanity is about to meet its end!"

With a light stomp of his staff, Keyes walked away.

"Damn it, don’t run!" Gray tried to say something, but he was being pulled slowly but surely towards the ground.

It wasn’t just Gray’s location.

In Lucy’s direction.

"What exactly is this...?" Ultear tried with all her might to pull her legs, which were sinking into the ground, free.

But the softening earth began to undulate.

Interrupting her attempt.

It even sent Lucy, who was trying to lend a hand, flying.

"Lady Lucy..." Yukino desperately clung to the ground, wanting to say something, but she was completely enveloped in the pink substance.

Natsu, all alone, struggled desperately, but in the end, all that was left was an angry roar before he completely merged with the ground beneath him.

"The joy of becoming one... Alegria, is it?" Silver, who had been planning to find Gray, stopped in his tracks.

Looking at the pink world around him, Silver sighed.

"To use such a boring curse..." He turned his gaze in a certain direction.

"Looks like... there won’t be another chance to meet..."

————————

Erza was also struggling.

Because the pink substance had coated her hands, she couldn’t even grip her sword hilt.

A sense of powerlessness was gradually overwhelming her.

"What the hell is going on?!" She let out a frustrated roar.

"Damn Tartaros, give Erza back!" Minerva shouted in anger, realizing what was happening.

"Erza is my prey!!"
