Upon learning that she had four months until her wedding day with Shang Hexing, Wen Zhi felt an inexplicable nervousness, although she concealed it well, Shang Hexing easily noticed.
"Don’t want it to be so soon?" he asked, pulling open the curtains as morning light streamed in.
He turned to look at her.

Shang Hexing’s eyelids drooped slightly as he looked down to button his cuffs and walked over, "I’ll discuss it again with Grandpa."
After buttoning his cuffs, he leaned down, placing his hands on her shoulders, his warm palms gently kneading, "If you think it’s too soon, then we’ll delay it. As long as we’re together, it’s never too late."
Feeling the reassurance Shang Hexing provided, Wen Zhi smiled at him, "The fifteenth of the first month, when families reunite, is a good day, suitable for marriage."
