Chapter 1558: I Think I’ve Had Enough Of You
Kintar’s feat just now had taken Uyuniya and Sila by surprise. The alien knew it wouldn’t be the last time the not-so-dwarf would surprise Rias with her powers, though, and she counted on it. Sila calculated the same while donning a smile.
’No wonder, tomato flinger,’ he thought. ’No wonder.’
Rias let out a harsh breath and countered Uyuniya’s sword slash by releasing a burst of Amras to push against its edge, making it bounce back. But as he did so, a blow from the alien’s Broader Existence hit him in the chin... again. When he reeled, Sila came flashing from his flank, throwing a volley of jabs that were meant to abuse the masked man’s ribs. Six landed perfectly, but then Rias leaped high, spun and rained down an axe kick on Sila’s head while sending another jet of Amras to smash into Uyuniya’s gut.
Sila ducked away from the kick and Uyuniya deflected the Amras blast with her sword. The short space between both of them backing off and them resuming their attack was a benefit to Rias, who prompted his technique conduit to release something else from its wide mouth.
Six creatures – giants – fell from it and surrounded him. They looked the same as the Undead summons from just before, but they were much stronger. Each of them were on the precipice of Divine strength. They didn’t waste time lunging at Sila and Uyuniya, and as they did, Rias reinforced the Undeath energy flaring from them.
’Pseudo Death Knights should do the trick,’ the young masked man thought.
It was a plausible thought.
There were classifications amongst undead minions, both official and unofficial. Official summons were important as collections for Liches, and the very least among them all, was the Death Knight. Planet ploughs, as some of the chattier Liches called them.
Rias had just summoned creatures that were only a touch away from such strength. They were to be Sila and Uyuniya’s opponents, and they were fearsome – violent, as well.
Right before a huge bayonet from one of the creatures reached the latter, however, she glanced to her left, where Kintar was grinning.
...Then it happened again!
All six Undead creatures were suffused with a radiant light and they disappeared without a trace.
