Suzamete was taken aback by Skullius’ suggestion.
Following the preparations to do with the result of his and Darwel’s activities, the Deitess had paid the Hybrid Warmoth a visit so that they could have a little chat about the full scope of his plans. The first thing Skullius said baffled the Deitess. She couldn’t help but wonder if she’d heard him right, after all, the jumbled mess of futures she could see had not shown her something like this.

Skullius frowned. "What do you mean, am I certain? Shouldn’t you be furious, or at least pretending to be? These are your people."
Suzamete couldn’t bring herself to be abrasive when she normally would be when Skullius began on this trend of questioning her sense. In this case, she considered how ironic it was that Grim, Yuyui, and the guardian beasts had questioned her about the same thing earlier.
<I can’t be furious. I do that all the time and for less... noble reasons than your own. If this will help you beat Fulgardt, I will support you. But as you said, randomizing the process will make the effect much better.>
Skullius considered the Deitess for a few moments. "Good then. But a few steps need to be taken before this one. First, we need to split Fulgardt and Rias. I couldn’t imagine fighting them together."
