Xihe coldly looked toward the ground. Zu An was standing there, gasping for air.
“You’re really after my life!” Zu An sweated profusely when he thought about the earlier situation. If not for his position swap ability, that attack would have taken his life. He had felt that aura before. It was similar to the attack that the mysterious Time Scribe had died to. Looks like Xihe really wants me dead.
Xihe scoffed, “Did you think I would swear loyalty to you just because I went to bed with you?”
She darted toward Zu An while unleashing rays of golden light. Her light vanquished everything in its path, even severing mountains apart. Zu An didn’t dare to let his guard down. He mustered his attention to deal with her onslaught.
