The news of Li Siru and Lu Beiyao wanting a divorce quickly spread like wildfire, and with such a big event happening, Ji Niandong and the others had no choice but to return to the Lu Mansion to take a look.
Before they even entered the house, they heard Tu Meijiao wailing loudly.
As soon as they stepped inside, Tu Yingying rushed over, hesitated for a moment, and then grabbed Lu Beichen’s arm saying, "Brother Beichen, you’re back just in time! Cousin always listens to you most; if that woman wants a divorce, just let her. Wouldn’t it be better to get rid of this troublemaker sooner? Yet, Cousin insists on not getting a divorce!"
As she spoke, tears streamed down her face, "Aunt has been worried sick over this, and I’m concerned about her too!"
Lu Beichen naturally pulled his arm back from her hand and replied indifferently, "I’ll go take a look!"
Ji Niandong also said, "I’ll go see Sister-in-law!"
Zhang Huiqin patted her shoulder, "That girl won’t say a word to me. If you can persuade her, please do!"
"Okay, Aunt Hui!" Ji Niandong nodded. Li Siru has always been tight-lipped, so it was to be expected!
Little Bun, seeing the oppressive atmosphere, held Zhang Huiqin’s hand and said, "Grandma, why is Grandpa putting on such a sour face? He’s not handsome anymore!"

Lu Qingyuan sat smoking a cigar from afar. Although it’s said that even a wise judge struggles with family affairs, he didn’t want to interfere but was still bothered by their turmoil.
Little Bun trotted over, crossing his arms and glaring, "Grandpa, smoking is harmful to your health, and children can’t breathe secondhand smoke. My dad doesn’t even smoke anymore, so why are you still smoking?"
Lu Qingyuan finally noticed his eldest grandson was back, extinguished the cigarette in his hand, and replied with a chuckle, "Now that my grandson and his dad have reconciled, you’re despising your Grandpa?"
"If Grandpa keeps smoking, of course I will!"
"I won’t smoke anymore, Grandpa won’t smoke anymore!" Lu Qingyuan was always compliant with his eldest grandson.
Little Bun was satisfied with this and pulled Lu Qingyuan towards the backyard, "Grandpa, it’s too noisy here. Come accompany me to play with Jiu Jiu in the backyard!" He even called out, "Grandma, come play with us too!"

After all, they were here to mediate!
Lu Beiyao was silent for half a minute before he slowly stood up. Having sat in the same position for so long, his legs and feet started to tingle, almost making him lose his balance!
