Lu Beichen’s mouth curved into a satisfied arc, rubbing his head twice more, completely enveloping his small frame in his embrace.
When Lu Sinian woke up again, he was the only one in the bed. Remembering the scene of sleeping in Lu Beichen’s arms, his little face changed slightly, thinking it must have been a dream.

Seeing him come out, she happily said, "Awake? Did you sleep well last night?"
Lu Sinian thought Sister Tongtong’s smile was strange and honestly replied, "Not well at all, but Sister Tongtong, what delicious food are you making? It smells good!"
He quickly changed the subject, twisting his little hips and climbing onto the dining table, waiting for her breakfast. He coughed slightly and asked, "Where’s Mr. Lu? Has he gone to work already?"
Ji Niandong brought breakfast over, sat beside him with a smile, and asked with deeper meaning, "Why, do you miss him?"
Lu Sinian frowned and shrank back a bit, looking disgusted, "Sister Tongtong, you’re gross, who would miss him?"
