Ji Niandong was so startled that she abruptly stood up from her chair and took a few steps back. The makeup artist beside her was also at a loss, not daring to offend Liu Xinyu.
Liu Xinyu looked at Ji Niandong with a smile that didn't reach her eyes, her face slightly stiff which looked awkward, but her gaze was filled with hostility.
"I heard another beauty is here, quite different from Qiao Anlu. But your clean aura, I find it more appealing!" She said, stepping forward, whispering in Ji Niandong's ear, "How did you climb up to Ada?"
Ji Niandong instinctively took a step back and replied politely, "Hello, Miss Liu. I don't know Ada personally. I'm honored she noticed me!"
She answered sincerely, but Liu Xinyu's face changed, "Are you proud of it, did she come to you?"
"I didn't mean that!" Ji Niandong slightly frowned, she used to admire Liu Xinyu, but now felt very uncomfortable.
However, Liu Xinyu then gave a shallow smile, took a step back, and extended her hand, "In the future, we're in the same crew, let's collaborate well!"
Ji Niandong hadn't figured out whether the extended hand was friendly or hostile when she saw Ada walking over, "What are you doing? Time is tight, can't you chat later?!"
She cast a barely noticeable glance at Liu Xinyu, pulled Ji Niandong to sit back in her chair, "Get your makeup done quickly, the photographer is waiting!"
