Chapter 41: Old Acquaintance
Ji Niandong walked out in a daze. There were many people auditioning here, and she wasn’t the only one walking out like this, so no one paid any attention to her.
Before she squeezed through the crowd, someone gently tapped her on the back. Ji Niandong turned around to see a girl with wide, innocent eyes looking at her, then excitedly grabbing her hand, "Tongtong, is it really you? I thought I saw wrong. You’re also here to audition?"
The girl had long hair, was tall, and looked the part of a well-behaved girl with a refined, artistic demeanor.
Ji Niandong immediately recognized her, "Zhou Yiqing? Qingqing?"
"You still remember me!" Zhou Yiqing looked moved and excited, glanced to the side, and pulled her to a deserted window ledge, "Tongtong, I haven’t seen you for five years. Sister Judy said you went to France, when did you come back? Why did you break off contact with us after going abroad?!"
"I didn’t go abroad!" Ji Niandong quickly explained, with a bit of a sigh, "I had a car accident five years ago and have been recovering at home. Eventually, I just stayed at home."
"You had a car accident?!" Zhou Yiqing looked her over, "Are you alright now? Sister Judy lied to us that you went abroad. They also said you hit it big and didn’t care about us. I knew you wouldn’t do that. You’ve had such a hard time, why didn’t you tell us?"
As Zhou Yiqing spoke, her eyes turned red.
