The old lady jokingly remarked to Xu Sisi: "You little dark girl."
Sisi stomped her foot: "Grandma, I’m not dark anymore, I’m as fair as Sister Niannian now. If you say I’m dark, then you’re saying Sister Niannian is dark too."

The old lady scolded Sisi while straightening her collar: "Look at you, so ugly, not even half as good looking as your grandpa."
Suddenly complimented, Xu Wentian laughed until his eyes crinkled.
Sisi looked up and saw her grandpa’s wrinkled face, instantly horrified. Was she really that ugly?
The old lady adored teasing Sisi, seeing her jump around was like watching her troublesome old second son.
Niannian knew the usual dynamic between the old lady and Sisi, both helpless and amused.
Elder Master Jin, still in the backyard, heard Gao Lihong’s voice and shuffled out with his cane to check.
"Oh, you’re here too?" the old lady asked disdainfully.
Elder Master Jin immediately choked: "You come to my house and ask that? Old Xu, you should keep your wife in check."
