The witch thought I am a Demon God

Lord Ivita had summoned Jack Ripper Wilson and the Hearthstone Witch, who came accompanied by Davina.

Ivita was unaware of the kind of deal that had transpired between the Hearthstone Witch and Davina, but the vampire Davina remained obediently behind the Old Witch, and her occasional glances towards Ivita were full of fear.

Whenever Davina’s gaze met Ivita’s, the former would quickly lower her eyes, too terrified to maintain eye contact. Even her shoulders began to tremble with fear.

Ivita narrowed his eyes at this, wondering what the Hearthstone Witch might have said to her.

How could she be so frightened of him?

Ivita said to Jack Ripper Wilson, "I am not sure why you have been following us all this while. It is not entirely safe for you. Given the recent disturbances in Kappa Town, even the recluse Ambros cannot avoid attracting The Church’s attention."

"By then, your safety will be at risk."

Jack Ripper Wilson bowed slightly before Ivita and said, "Lord Ivita, I... I wish to swear my allegiance to you. I have spent a long time contemplating this. You see, I have always been on the run from the Church, living under a false identity."

"But you have shown me a much more formidable power. I wish to serve by your side, use the remainder of my strength to build a kingdom that belongs to you."

Jack Ripper Wilson then bowed in respect to Ivita.
