The witch thought I am a Demon God

So he finally understood. He originally thought the Ice Witch was an enemy of humanity, but now it appears that she is, in fact, a neutral power.

Because she placed her bets on both sides, she became a neutral force.

But why would the Ice Witch do this?

Ivita looked at the old witch. "Could a full-fledged witch, with such great mana, bestow blessings on thousands of ships in the Bohr River Basin?"

"After all, when I was distressed by my own fire magic and set ablaze, it was your response to the Ice Witch’s magic power that turned a creek into a river and extinguished the flames on my body."

Ivita stroked his chin with his fingers. "Looking at it this way, I should thank the Ice Witch."

The Hearthstone Grand Witch was extremely jealous and gritted her teeth. "What is there to thank her for? A mere full-fledged witch obviously has no such magic power. It is the Law. She is only a puppet under the Law."

"It’s Snow Mountain Law. Controlling the Bohr River Basin is an important subsidiary law of the Snow Mountain Law and is Snow Mountain Law’s compromise to The Fire of Law: the Thousand-Year Fire."

The Hearthstone Grand Witch said, "Legend has it that after the Great Redwood Sea disappeared, Ambros was turned into an icy landscape for a time. The Snow Mountain Law was about to engulf the Ambros Plain, but the Thousand-Year Fire melted the snow mountains, transforming them into the Bohr River."

"The Ice Witch is a protector of the Snow Mountain Law. She was only able to do what she did by borrowing the power of the Snow Mountain Law. If I had such a law, I would even be better."

The old witch said somewhat sourly, "If I had Snow Mountain Law, perhaps, I would be a senior witch by now."
