The Martial Unity

Chapter 3160: Secondary Priority

"Tsk." A flicker of impatience flashed through Rui’s expression. "I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. There’s no way that fellow would sit around in the Kandrian Empire when the true world exists."

"He left a cryptic message for you for when you woke up," Emperor Rael calmly remarked. "He said, ’tell him that my decision to act is not license for his lethargy. I expect him to dedicate himself to fulfilling his end of our pact.’"

Rui heaved a sigh. "I have racked up way too many commitments these days."

He hadn’t forgotten the old promise he had made with the Divine Doctor.

In fact, he had hoped that the Unfolding itself would be the so-called illness of Gaia that the Divine Doctor insisted existed. "I suppose I will have to find him when I enter the true world," Rui remarked. "I can still experiment by myself, of course. But I will need him for any serious modifications to my body."

He looked forward to it in the long run.

His attention returned to his father. "Tell you what, I plan to visit non-hostile powerhouses in the true world. Ones that came in peace or didn’t come at all for whatever reason. My primary goal is to elevate my adaptive evolution, but once I have accomplished that, I will take on the role of an ambassador and broker an agreement with that power and the Panamic Alliance. Does that sound like an acceptable compromise?"

His father’s eyes lit up at those words. "That sounds perfect. Any allies you bring us will be greatly appreciated. And given that you will most likely visit powerful countries, it is functionally very similar to if you accepted the diplomat mission as your primary priority." Get full chapters from 𝔫𝔬𝔳𝔢𝔩•𝗳𝗂𝗋𝖾•𝕟𝕖𝕥
