Amare gritted her teeth as she unleashed the sum totality of her full power against Anthea in a furious battle. Her palms tunneled through the very fabric of reality with a tremendously intense momentum and speed that would have crushed nearly any other combatant.
And yet, against the supreme commander of the Evolutionary Army, she felt entirely inadequate as her attacks passed right through him. He adaptively evolved to her, as always, by severing his connection with the Higgs Field, allowing his body to phase through her attacks smoothly while simultaneously launching his own.

"Rgh…!" she grimaced as an astronomically heavy attack struck her with great speed and force.
Anthea had intensified the interactions of some parts of his body with the Higgs Field, allowing him to strike her with much greater mass in his attack at the moment of impact, causing each attack to feel like a meteorite impact.
The sheer force of the impact caused her arm to crack, only to heal in the blink of an eye thanks to the healing fruit.
Anthea's ephemeral transparent figure gazed at her with a knowing expression. "Without that exotic resource, you would not be able to survive a battle with me."
She sharpened her eyes fiercely at those words.
While his words were alien, he had managed to convey their meaning to her nonetheless.
"And for what?" his tone calm and composed. "You cannot defeat me. You can barely stall me just in time for your sieges to inflict enough harm on our expansion to slow it down temporarily. And yet…"
He directed a knowing gaze at her. "…it is only doomed to delay the inevitable."
