Chapter 3053: The Great Singularity
She had a point.
Martial Artists were destructive.
There were many instances in human history where they had unleashed power upon the world that exceeded what almost all natural calamities could unleash.
Sage Sia had caused the sea levels of an inland ocean in the Umiana Trench in the Zeltic Ocean near the Sekigahara Confederate to rise greatly with her Sage-level training, causing hundreds of millions of people to be wiped out in the blink of an eye.
"It was a disaster that far exceeded natural disasters, including tsunamis, and it still didn’t violate the Law of Continuity of History," she explained. "To this day, there is a myriad of evidence detailing the nature of the civilization that was wiped out, from remains of the foundations of infrastructure, to skeletal fossils, and even preserved records and documents, tools, and all manner of things that have been retrieved from the swallowed up sites. That’s not all..."
She waved her hand.
"One of the most destructive events, the Gu and its destruction and the subsequent void that has formed in much of North-West Panama, still didn’t violate the Law of Continuity of History," she explained. "In some of my most recent publications, I have all the discoveries that I have made about the Gu and the nightmarish life in the region. I have detailed all the evidence that still exists. And this phenomenon was one that couldn’t even occur naturally. And yet, it didn’t destroy all evidence of the past. If that isn’t proof enough, then take the most destructive event known to mankind."
Her eyes sharpened.
"The epoch of the Beast Incursion."
She displayed a modern map of the Panama Continent, covered in the esoterified extension of human civilization.
The map was labeled with a myriad of images around it that showed the sustained existence of countless clues and pieces of evidence of what life was like across human civilization before the Beast Incursion.
