Silas and Aya went to the area that Nathan mentioned before. It was an empty area with no one present and there were also some magic beast roaming around.
From the mana concentration, Aya guessed that this used to be a mine and then the mine was completely exhausted before the entire place was abandoned. After all, no one wanted to stay in a place where the resources were scarce.
This would affect their practice.
"The only people who will come here are runaways who want to hide from some people," Silas commented as they walked around the place.
It was really barren.
The mana concentration here was really pitiful and no one would want to come here if it was not necessary.
"I think it’s better for them to run to other places rather than coming here," Aya said quietly.
Their three cities area has even better mana concentration than this place even if they were not in the deep forest area. The other areas should be similar to that palace, so if they wanted to run away and hide, they should just pick one of these places.
There might be a risk of meeting people, but if they were to stay in the wilderness area, who could say for sure that they would not be found?
Anyway, living in those areas were definitely far better than living in this barren place.
At least, this was Aya’s evaluation.
"True..." Silas had lived in the deep forest area for a long time with Aya. The only time they went to the cities was to buy more supplies for their lives.
