Chapter 326: Arguments

The two men were arguing with each other and Nisa looked nervous on the side.

Aya felt a bit awkward but she saw that Nisa was fidgeting, so she came to her side and patted Nisa’s hand. She wanted to help soothe Nisa’s feelings.

"You’ve been with Teacher for a longer time," Silas said slowly. "Why can’t you be the one to persuade her?"

Nathan was silent and he took a deep breath. "Teacher didn’t want to let her brother in law and sister alone, so she wanted to go. I can’t even persuade my brother, so I..."

Bang!

"Then don’t come here to whine!" Silas slammed the table and looked at Nathan coldly. "You know very well that every magician and magic warrior has their own path that they have to take. Their path of advancements will depend on themselves and also their skills. If you’re trying to stop them from doing what they wanted, how’s that different from stopping them from becoming magic warriors in the first place?"

"What if I know that they’ll definitely die?" Nathan asked in frustration.

"Then you tell them. They’re already adults, capable of making their own decisions. If this is the decision they have made, they should have known the risk when making this decision. I’m sure that even if this path might lead to their death, they would still choose this path all the same," Silas said coldly.

"You can’t decide on another person’s path. Everyone has their own wills and what you can do is to make sure that they know the risk of the decision they will face. Even if one were to walk towards their own bitter end and they knew but they still want to pick this decision, we can only support them!"

Nathan’s face was red. "You b*stard! Do you not care about her at all..."

"I care and I also respect her!" Silas cut off Nathan’s words. "Don’t impose on your way of caring to me because I have my own way to care for others. And if she truly wants to go, I won’t stop her."
