Aya could guess that the Fourth Head of the Wansu City wanted her cousin to be his disciple, to strengthen the bonds of his family with the White Family.
"It’s a game of political power," Aya said slowly. "It’s disgusting and annoying, but there’s nothing much that you can do about it. As the future head of the White Family, you will be dragged in sooner or later."
Evan nodded thoughtfully.
He knew that Aya didn’t like to play these games and would rather use her fist to solve her problems. The problem was, not all problems could be solved with their fists and there were times when they had to use various tactics and other methods just to succeed.
In battle, Aya didn’t mind using some tactics to win.
This battle between Evan and Dylan was also under her influence. She gave a set of tactics for Evan to win the battle and the methods were not exactly fair for Dylan.
But so what?
Aya just wanted her cousin to win.
And in terms of political battle, Aya had to say that she was not really interested in it and would rather rest on the back rather than being involved in it. She wanted to deal with the ghosts more than dealing with the magic warriors from Wansu City in their internal battle.
"Father and Uncle won’t allow it," Evan said.
"Yes." Aya nodded and then added, "They can still protect you for the time being, but they wouldn’t be able to do it forever."
