Chapter 166: Meeting
After waiting for a while, Aya saw Silas coming to the White Family Residence. To be honest, Silas had come to the White Family Residence several times in the past few years. But no matter how many times he came, he would not enter through the gate and instead stayed outside to wait for her.
This time though, Silas asked to enter and headed straight to the front of Aya’s residence.
"Brother Silas?" Aya asked as she looked at Silas. The expression on Silas’s face looked extremely complicated and Aya guessed that Silas might not come here out of his own will.
Just like what the White Family Patriarch said to her, he would come to see her and someone should have ordered him to do so.
Who?
It couldn’t be the White Family Patriarch, so it might be the Fourth Head of the Wansu City or even the Black Family Patriarch. No matter which one it was, Aya chose not to ask.
She only looked at Silas in front of her.
"Aya..." Silas called out and looked at the young girl in front of him with a complicated expression. If it was possible, he truly didn’t want to bring Aya to see the Fourth Head of the Wansu City. It was also because of this that when he took a mission back then, he asked his Master to keep watch of Aya.
Because Silas could see that the Fourth Head of the Wansu City was not truly sincere in his actions and many of his deeds were more for the sake of letting himself stay in power.
It was just that...
*sigh*
