With that, the Black Family Patriarch walked into Patrick’s residence.
Patrick was already there, sitting on a chair leisurely.
"It’s rare for you to come seeing me, Patriarch," Patrick said calmly, his tone stressing over the word ’patriarch.’
When Patrick was younger, the Black Family Patriarch was different. And Patrick could be said to watch as the Black Family Patriarch changed hands from Patrick’s father to his brother and then to his nephew. But this position had nothing to do with him.

The other members of the Black Family also refused Patrick because they were worried that they would die unnecessarily if they followed him.

"Did you get out of the residence?" the Black Family Patriarch went straight to the point, too lazy to argue with Patrick.
