"Give me a break!" Nelia snorted after Nathan was finally down and then looked at the two children at the side. "Are you Silas's friends? You can't steal the cookies from me!"
Aya's lips twitched and she said weakly, "I don't want cookie, Big Sister."
"I don't want any either." Evan shook his head rapidly. After suffering a beating from Nelia, Evan truly didn't want to get another beating. It was already more than enough that he was beaten up once by this violent woman.
"Good." Nelia nodded in satisfaction.
Melia sighed. "There are enough cookies for everyone. You're not a child anymore, Nelia."
"I still want the cookie!" Nelia complained.
