Chapter 7: Another Year
"Time to go back," Evan replied. He smiled happily. "I have successfully completed father's request to make friend. He should be happy!"
Aya: "..."
Happy?
Thinking that Evan chose someone from the Black Family to befriend, Aya had the feeling that her uncle would rather beat Evan rather than praising him.
To be honest, Aya didn't understand how Evan managed to become the family's head in the future.
Then again, a child's personality was not fixed yet.
There was still a lot of chance for Evan to grow up along the way.
And Aya didn't say anything.
When they came back, Aya slipped back to her residence and found her father was looking in her direction with the same stern face. To be honest, Aya wondered whether her father could change his expression or not because he seemed to always have that kind of face.
