When Han Jinyu heard that her marriage was going to be the topic of conversation, she immediately pretended to be embarrassed like other girls would react and hid quickly. However, she stood at the door of the hall to listen in.
She stopped by the west window and peeked in to see what Lin Lan was doing. Upon looking around, she was met by Lin Lan’s smiling eyes. She saw Lin Lan sitting in front of the window sill, spinning a pen between the fingers of her left hand. She leaned her cheek on her right hand, smiling slightly with her face raised.
“Hey, you! Why don’t you come down and talk to your mother-in-law when you’re awake?” Han Jinyu pointed at Lin Lan.
