Chapter 1802: Rising Star (4)
Chuzheng changed into her outfit and finished her makeup while they were still dealing with NGs over there. She sat playing with her phone, finding it rather dull, and got up to head over to the set.
Chuzheng found a spot to stand, watching the main actor awkwardly act against thin air.
The lead was a rising young star, Yang Kaige, known from a singing show. As for his acting... without that face, probably no one would watch.
Of course, since this is a youth drama, a good-looking face is enough, as long as it’s not forcibly bad, people will watch.
"Some people have no talent but act high and mighty, making the whole crew wait as if they’re a big star."
Shen Qingman came over from the other side, hugging a heater, looking for trouble with Chuzheng directly.
Yesterday, her assistant was pushed into the water by this wretched girl, and today, she is still in the hospital on an IV.
Yet, this wretched girl looks fine and has the audacity to show up, which makes Shen Qingman furious.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Shen Qingman felt uncomfortable under Chuzheng’s gaze, glared with her beautiful eyes, and puffed out her chest, trying to overpower Chuzheng with her presence.
Chuzheng’s makeup was the same as before, so Shen Qingman only felt that Chuzheng’s aura had changed but couldn’t see any difference in that face.
Shen Qingman wore a down jacket over her school uniform, which unfortunately didn’t suit her appearance. The uniform looked a bit small, and Chuzheng was worried for her. What if the buttons popped?
Chuzheng spoke leisurely: "It’s a pity there’s no pool to serve you today."
