Chapter 1692: Born in Solitude (6)
Chuzheng didn’t give these people a chance to argue; she swiftly called the police.
The police station was right across from the neighborhood, and the response was quick.
The surveillance clearly showed Lu Qian taking the figurine out of the room, with irrefutable evidence.
The figurine is now worth more than when the original owner bought it, valued at over ten thousand.
Stealing personal property worth over ten thousand, she would be sentenced to at least two to three years.
Lu Qian’s things hadn’t even been taken out yet; they were just placed in her suitcase.
The police found the items and then heard they were relatives, and their attitude became a bit strange.
"A relative stealing isn’t considered stealing? Does the law protect relatives?" Chuzheng was determined: "The procedure must be followed, no reconciliation!"
"You..." The aunt was so angry she almost lost her breath: "What stealing? Why are you speaking so harshly? Xixi just wanted to take a look. Why fuss over such a trivial thing?"
"It’s worth ten thousand," Chuzheng reminded the aunt.
The aunt: "..."
She just couldn’t understand why such a person would be worth ten thousand.
