Chapter 1125: Chapter 1125: Wandering the World with Sword in Hand (29)

“Watch the room for me,” Chuzheng instructed Villains A and B. “No one is allowed in or out except me.”

Villain A and B were shocked. “Chu… Miss Chuzheng, are you… are you planning to take over?”

“What position am I taking over?” Chuzheng was bewildered. Why does everyone think she’s trying to usurp power! Chuzheng had to emphasize once more, “The Sect Hierarch of the Brahman Immortal Sect will always be Ming Xian.”

Villain A and B: “…”

Then why are you locking up the Sect Hierarch!?

Villain A and B did not know, nor did they dare ask.

Chuzheng had put Ming Xian under soft imprisonment.

The news quickly spread throughout the Brahman Immortal Sect.

The elders of the Brahman Immortal Sect had previously been dealt with by Chuzheng, and everyone who joined later came for money, and Chuzheng was the money-spender, so nobody mentioned the fact that Ming Xian was being imprisoned.

Only the person involved was angry enough to throw things.

Ming Xian had a sword in his hand; this kind of room definitely couldn’t hold him, yet the result was that he simply couldn’t get out.

“Miss Chuzheng, the Sect Hierarch upstairs is calling for you…”

“Let him call, he’ll stop when he’s tired,” Chuzheng said nonchalantly.

“…”

There’s something off about this situation.

Villain A and B pondered for a day and finally figured out what was wrong.

Miss Chuzheng’s behavior is no different from those rich playboys outside, immersing in luxury.

“Then our Sect Hierarch…” Villain A couldn’t help but cross his arms, “isn’t he like a virtuous man from a good family?”

Villain B seemed to be infected by him and also crossed his arms, “The Sect Hierarch is so capable, how come he can’t even break down a door now?”

Villain A had an epiphany, “Right, is the Sect Hierarch doing that… that thing?”

Villain B: “Playing hard to get.”

Villain A clapped his thigh, “Exactly.”

The two exchanged a strange look, feeling a chill down their spines, not knowing what they thought of, both shivered simultaneously.

Both quickly distanced themselves far away from Ming Xian’s room.

Villain A was curious, “Since when did you become so learned?”

Speaking of this, Villain B seemed a bit angry, “Don’t mention it, I don’t know which idiot it was who proposed to Miss Chuzheng to build a school, and Miss Chuzheng agreed right away, now she wants all of us to go to the academy to learn knowledge.”

Villain B got angrier as he spoke, “Look at us, wielding a knife to kill is as easy as eating, but what’s with going to school? I don’t even know how to write my own name.”

Villain A was shocked, “Can’t be.” Silently critiquing inside, you don’t even have a name.

Villain B: “I went yesterday… Did you still not know? Come, I’ll take you to see, it’s just across the street. Oh, you might not know, but Miss Chuzheng bought the opposite street, said she wants to transform it entirely into a school, it’s quite grand.”

Villain A: “…”

Villain A felt numb, after all, Miss Chuzheng’s money flows like water.

The playboys in Liuzhou City couldn’t catch up to Miss Chuzheng even with racing horses.

Ming Xian was inside the room, listening to his former lackeys having a mutual exchange of words and leaving, kicking out in anger.

How is he supposed to be a Sect Hierarch!

Is this what a Sect Hierarch is?

Qiu Yuehe…

Ming Xian thought of Qiu Yuehe and gradually calmed down, he must kill him.

He couldn’t waste time here; he didn’t have much time left.

Chuzheng was having people inquire about Qiu Yuehe’s whereabouts; before she managed to confront him, Qiu Yuehe suddenly gathered the Martial Arts World People, claiming he wanted to eliminate the Brahman Immortal Sect as a malignant tumor.

Chuzheng: “…”

Qiu Yuehe, the sly dog, was jumping around too much, he needed to be pressed down.

With Qiu Yuehe as the Alliance Hierarch, organizing the ‘Cult Annihilation Movement’ would be a call to arms, with self-proclaimed righteous heroes now heading to the Alliance Leader’s Residence, planning the next steps for the ‘Cult Annihilation Movement.’

Chuzheng didn’t have much reaction after hearing this.

She called Villains A and B over, “Go handle a matter for me.”

Villains A and B smiled ingratiatingly, “Miss Chuzheng, you tell us, we guarantee to complete the task.”

Chuzheng gestured for them to come closer.

“Miss Chuzheng, the Sect Hierarch wants to see you.” Early one morning, a Sect Member hurried over to report to Chuzheng.

“What does he want to do?”

Sect Member: “…”

How could a runner know the thoughts of those in power?

Chuzheng put down the book in her hand and went upstairs to see Ming Xian.

Inside, Ming Xian was eating. He glanced at Chuzheng once, putting down the spoon in his hand, “I’m feeling a bit stifled, want to go down for a walk.”

Chuzheng stood at the door, hand still on the door frame, nodded at the words, “Alright, go ahead.”

Ming Xian perhaps didn’t expect Chuzheng to agree so easily, was a little taken aback.

He picked up the sword, waited for a while, seeing Chuzheng didn’t ask him to put the sword down, he left the room.

Behind the Drunken Red Pavilion was a small courtyard, not large in size but elegantly maintained, with some stone tables and stools, even a swing, vine tendrils winding around it, full of greenery.

Leading Ming Xian into the courtyard, Chuzheng didn’t know why but he focused on the swing.

The swing was quite spacious, three people could sit comfortably.

Though it looked like just a decoration, suitable for a seat.

Ming Xian went over and sat down directly, placing the long sword beside him, brow downcast, with the mask covering everything.

Ming Xian, after causing such a fuss earlier, upon seeing her, seemed unusually quiet, leaving Chuzheng slightly wary.

But Ming Xian, until he left, did nothing.

The next day Ming Xian again requested to go outside for air.

The third day…

The fourth day…

So alarmed, Chuzheng had Villains A and B secure the Drunken Red Pavilion heavily, absolutely no chance for the Good Person Card to escape.

“I’m a bit hungry.” Ming Xian spoke suddenly while sitting on the swing, “Accompany me to eat something.”

Chuzheng felt a bit apprehensive, “You’re not trying to drug me for an escape, are you?”

Ming Xian lifted his gaze to her, somewhat indifferent, “I should be the one worrying about that.” The source of this content ɪs 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡·𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖·𝔫𝔢𝔱

Chuzheng stopped talking then, had food brought over, placed on the stone table. Ming Xian picked himself off the swing, brushed off his clothes, sat down.

The sky above was a clear blue, sunlight streamed down, blocked by nearby buildings, only a sliver falling half-way from the eaves, perfectly illuminating Ming Xian’s feet.

Ming Xian silently eating, his tableware soundless, like a quiet painting.

Chuzheng wasn’t very hungry, just watched him eat.

Through observation, Chuzheng found Ming Xian was quite picky with food, occasionally leaning toward sweet foods, though he restrained much more compared to other aspects.

Chuzheng pushed a bowl of sweet soup in front of him, “Have more.”

Ming Xian didn’t refuse, picked up the spoon, sipping slowly.

“Chuzheng.”

“Hmm?”

“Is there something you want to do?” He asked, “Related to me.”

“Anything’s possible?”

Ming Xian’s fingers released the spoon, turning his head to look at her, nodding slowly, “Yes.”

Chuzheng beckoned him with a finger.

Ming Xian hesitated slightly, leaned over.

Chuzheng whispered a couple of words in his ear; Ming Xian’s expression stiffened, moments later he drew a breath, “I’ll come to your room tonight.”

With that said, he picked up the sword, left the courtyard quickly, following someone back to his room.
